Drought concerns lead to smaller almond forecast

Water availability and the drought remain a top concern for many California almond growers, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture National Agricultural Statistics Service reported last week that the total almond crop could drop by 2.5 percent, compared to the 2013 production.
