USDA seeks applications for two watershed programs
Landowners in the Calleguas Creek watershed in Ventura County and the Salt River watershed in Humboldt County may apply for targeted funding to improve water quality. The U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service said this is the second year the NRCS National Water Quality Initiative is providing accelerated assistance to landowners in the two watersheds.
