Farmers can protect bees through timing of applications

Now that bee colonies have been placed into orchards to pollinate this season's almond crop, University of California Cooperative Extension apiculturist Eric Mussen recommends that farmers use best management practices and communicate with beekeepers regarding timing of applications, in order to protect honeybee health.
