Water monitoring program extended; new measures added

The Central Valley's nearly 35,000 farms will continue to manage water and nutrients from fields and ditches under a two-year extension of the existing Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program, set to expire at the end of June. But the extension comes with the addition of new "mitigation measures" for the interim period.
