All members receive special fall issue of California Bountiful

Investing in telling the story of agriculture to more than farmers, ranchers and agriculturalists is a responsibility Farm Bureau takes seriously. This month, the California Farm Bureau is sharing with all members a special issue of California Bountiful®, its food and lifestyle magazine.

Published quarterly, California Bountiful is available by subscription and provided to Farm Bureau associate members as part of their member benefits package.

“The magazine’s purpose is to underscore in a subtle, yet impactful way the value of agriculture in everyday life,” said Barbara Arciero, California Farm Bureau managing director of publications. Each issue includes stories about farmers and ranchers, recipes, gardening projects, book reviews, Q&As and other content designed to appeal to a general-interest audience.

The 64-page fall issue, published Oct. 1, is the largest single issue in the magazine’s 47-year history. The timing of the mailing to the full Farm Bureau membership serves as a celebration of the harvests leading up to the holidays and reminds members of their access to low subscription prices as they plan their holiday gift-giving, Arciero said.

Subscriptions are available for $9.99 for one year or $14.99 for two years. Farm Bureau agricultural members receive a 20% discount on a one-year subscription.

“We encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to subscribe to California Bountiful,” Arciero said. “It’s a gift people can enjoy year-round as well as a tangible way to recognize and support the work of California farmers and ranchers.”
