Cal/OSHA enforces updated heat-safety standard

New revisions to the California Heat Illness Prevention Standard have been enforced by the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health—Cal/OSHA—since May 1. As temperatures increase leading up to the summer months, farmers and farm labor contractors should already have revised programs in place that reflect the changes enacted by Cal/OSHA.
