Ask Your PCA: What type of disease issues in almonds can be expected with this warm, dry winter?

Issue Date: March 11, 2015

Currently, we are looking at a relatively similar situation as last year. Most of my almond ranches are blooming approximately the same time they did last year. One concern we are having is with rust fungus. It typically shows up every year after harvest on leaves and usually the leaves drop before January, landing on the ground and rendering them harmless.
