Ag leaders named to advocacy roles

Newly appointed directors of the California Partnership for the San Joaquin Valley, a nonprofit advocacy group, include two agricultural leaders, along with other community advocates. Gov. Brown named Andrew Genasci, California Farm Bureau Federation regional representative for the San Joaquin Valley, to the board, as well as re-appointing California Department of Food and Agriculture Secretary Karen Ross. She has served as a partnership director since 2011.
