Inspection finds eggs of grape pest

Egg masses of an insect that threatens grapevines turned up on a shipment of nursery crops into Napa County, according to a report from the county agricultural commissioner's office. Agricultural Commissioner Greg Clark said last week that a shipment inspection at a plant retailer disclosed egg masses of the glassy-winged sharpshooter.
