University study finds avocados curb appetite

Adding half an avocado at lunch can cut appetite by as much as one-third, researchers found. A clinical study published last month in the journal Nutrition found a fresh avocado with lunch may have helped 26 healthy, overweight people feel more satisfied and reduced their desire to eat following a meal.
