Researchers focus on potatoes with disease resistance

Disease is always a challenge for potato growers, but the short growing season in the Klamath Basin benefits growers because there's less time for disease pressure to build, according to Sid Staunton, a partner in Staunton Farms in Tulelake and chairman of the United States Potato Board.
