‘Dr. Q’: From farmworker to surgeon

As the featured speaker at the California Farm Bureau Federation Leaders Conference, Dr. Alfredo Quiñones-Hinojosa described his career that began with his experience as a young, migrant farmworker and progressed to his current role: neuroscientist and neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore and an associate professor of neurological surgery and oncology, searching for a cure for brain cancer.
