Hoop houses are on the increase for vegetable crops

Some California vegetables are grown indoors in greenhouses and hoop houses (also known as high tunnels). When looking at greenhouses and hoop houses combined, there has been a big increase in their usage, according to Rex Dufour, California regional office director for the National Center for Appropriate Technology.
