State Supreme Court rules in agricultural labor cases

In opinions that employers' representatives described as disappointing, the California Supreme Court rejected one farmer's contention that the process by which the state can impose a labor contract on agricultural employers and employees is unconstitutional, and turned away two arguments that the United Farm Workers union had abandoned the people it purported to represent.
