Klamath irrigators are in D.C. over water ‘taking’ case

Klamath Basin irrigators are in Washington, D.C., this week to continue a lengthy legal battle that began in 2001, after the federal government denied water to Klamath Water Project irrigators due to drought and biological opinion requirements for the endangered Lost River and shortnose sucker fish and threatened coho salmon.
