Field-to-Vase dinners promote California flowers

"Pop-up" parties known as Field-to-Vase dinners have made California flower farms into a hot ticket for guests who enjoy farm and greenhouse tours, followed by a gourmet dinner with the grower and local floral designers. Along with floral design demonstrations and discussions about sustainable flower-growing practices, the events provide participants with a behind-the-scenes glimpse of what it takes to grow and ship cut flowers.
