Food processing benefits state’s economy, UC reports
Food and beverage processing represents a key engine of the California economy, accounting for nearly $25.2 billion in value-added activity and a total value of $82 billion in 2012, according to a study by the University of California Giannini Foundation of Agricultural Economics.
