Wine exports from U.S., California set new records in ’12
For a third consecutive year, revenues from U.S. wine exports reached new highs, with 2012 totaling $1.43 billion, a 2.6 percent increase over the 2011 record. According to the Wine Institute, which released the figures last week, wine volume shipments reached 424.6 million liters or 112.2 million cases in 2012. Ninety percent of those wine exports came from California.
