Report says floriculture sales dropped slightly in ’11
Floral products from California continue to lead the nation with more than a quarter of the total U.S. wholesale value: $1.01 billion in sales during 2011. California sales decreased slightly, however, and the number of growers also declined—down 6 percent to 384 in 2011 from 408 the previous year.
