Survey: Voters support new farm guestworker program
In a new survey of the public's views on agriculture and immigration, 70 percent of voters surveyed said they would support a "streamlined and sensible" guestworker program allowing immigrant farm employees to enter the United States legally. A similar majority in the survey said it does not believe migrant employees cause unemployment or take jobs away from Americans.
