Extension works to withstand cuts

As California university campuses face challenges educating students during leaner budget times, the University of California Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources, which provides research and runs Cooperative Extension, is trying to "thoughtfully" implement its cuts "to position ourselves for the future," said Barbara Allen-Diaz, UC associate vice president for ANR.
