Olive fruit fly shows preference for larger fruit sizes

Size matters when you're a grower of table olives, considering that you're paid more for bigger fruit. But that bigger fruit also can make it a more likely target for the olive fruit fly. And it makes it harder for beneficial insects to take that destructive pest out of the picture.
