Peach growers look for ways to survive a tough year

With a family history of farming in the Central Valley that dates back to before the 1930s, grower Gary Darpinian of Escalon has spent every summer since age 11 harvesting peaches with his father. This summer, he says, promises to be one of the more challenging.
