Climatologist analyzes predictions for winter rains

The amount of rainfall coming to the state's rangeland this season will depend largely on where in the state a ranch is located, according to an agricultural weather researcher. While the northern part of the state should enjoy decent to good rainfall during the 2016-17 season, the more southern areas figure to endure continued drought.
