Study aims to thwart invasive weed, aid sorghum

Lessons learned from research into the widespread weed Johnsongrass could also lead to strategies to improve sorghum, according to researchers with University of California Cooperative Extension. Johnsongrass is closely related to sorghum, which is grown as a gluten-free grain, animal feed and biofuel crop.
