Districts provide water for rice decomposition, habitat

Water for environmental purposes has become available within eight Sacramento Valley water districts. One of the districts, the Glenn-Colusa Irrigation District, said it will make up to 24,370 acre-feet of water available for fall rice decomposition, duck ponds and habitat land.
