USFWS is sued over delay in removing rat from ESA

In an effort to gain compliance with the U.S. Endangered Species Act, the Pacific Legal Foundation sued the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service last week for failing to respond to PLF's petition to remove the Stephen's kangaroo rat from the agency's endangered species list.
