Survey indicates reduced losses among bee colonies

An annual survey tallying losses of managed honeybee colonies reveals that losses were less severe than the previous year. The survey, titled U.S. National Survey of Managed Honey Bees, indicated that 23.2 percent of managed honeybee colonies in the U.S. died during the winter of 2013-14.
