Displays at department stores, other sites whet demand for California-grown flowers

With spring flower shows and festivals going on throughout the U.S., California cut-flower and greenhouse growers are busy shipping to meet demand. Growers say demand has been strong for the 2015 spring season and a mild winter created ideal growing conditions. But they say the ongoing California drought creates many uncertainties for future production.
