Study evaluates retail ads’ impact on avocado sales

To find out which retail advertising works best for avocado sales, the Hass Avocado Board conducted a study of retail promotional offers and advertisements. Overall, the study found avocados enjoyed robust sales, with traditional grocery retailers ringing up $1.3 billion in avocado sales during 2014. Hass avocados accounted for 94 percent of category sales.
