Consultation services can bolster safety, official says

The surest way to avoid the stiff penalties Cal/OSHA metes out for a long list of workplace health and safety violations is for farmers and ranchers to invite the inspectors to look over their agricultural operations, according to the coordinator of the Enforcement Branch at the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health.
