Growers cautioned to stay vigilent for sharpshooter

Pierce's disease and its aggressive vector, the glassy-winged sharpshooter, may have disappeared from headlines in recent years, but experts say grape growers throughout California should not become complacent about monitoring their vineyards for signs of infected vines.
