Profitability may tighten for state’s dairy farmers

A strengthening dollar, declining prices for milk abroad and a hazy outlook on export potential could slow or stop a short-lived boom for California dairy operators, who have seen feed prices move to multi-year lows and milk selling at record highs in recent months.
