UC expert offers tips on growing alfalfa in drought

A University of California Cooperative Extension farm advisor on alfalfa, forage crops and irrigation shared some tips on boosting yield and profitability in the alfalfa arena this year, in the light of a lingering drought and forecasts for higher priced alfalfa on fewer acres in the state.
