California gets lion’s share of pest-fighting grants

Nearly $50 million provided by the 2014 Farm Bill will be allocated to projects across the country that will help to prevent the introduction or spread of plant pests and diseases that threaten America's agricultural economy and the environment, according to U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.
