Drought reduces bee forage and pollination demand

Almond orchards are buzzing with activity, as beekeepers from California and across the country tend to honeybee colonies that have been placed into orchards in advance of this year's pollination season. But the California drought may reduce that activity, as farmers react to severe water shortages in almond-growing areas.
