County inspectors assess freeze impact on citrus

Damage to citrus from a rare early-season freeze has growers, packers and agricultural officials scrambling to assess losses, harvest and certify quality before shipment. The state's 81 citrus packinghouses have been holding fruit for 48 hours to allow for more thorough inspections.
