Santa Clara County finalizes habitat conservation plan

Final steps in adopting what officials call an ambitious habitat conservation plan for parts of the Coyote Valley have been completed. The plan will include 46,500 acres in land purchases in an area of Santa Clara County that includes a variety of farming and ranching activities.
