Carrots show promise for keeping nematodes in check

There's no question that as nematode problems in California continue to get worse, the restrictions governing the use of traditional nematicides are going to get tighter. As a result, scientists and seed breeders have been working for the past 20-plus years to develop nematode-resistant carrot cultivars.
