State monitors Orange County outbreak of horse virus

State animal health officials continue to monitor horses at an Orange County equestrian facility after 11 of the animals have been confirmed to have the contagious and potentially fatal neuropathogenic equine herpes virus-1, according to the California Department of Food and Agriculture.
