Khapra beetles stopped at ports

Interceptions of Khapra beetle, one of the world's most destructive grain pests, are on the rise. During September alone, U.S. Customs and Border Protection agricultural specialists in Oakland made multiple interceptions in shipments totaling more than 1 million kilograms of grain.
