Calls for storage intensify as dry winter cuts supplies

While the California Water Commission heard criticism from state lawmakers and others about low scoring of water storage projects competing for $2.7 billion in Proposition 1 funds, the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation emphasized the need for more storage as it delivered its initial allocation for the Central Valley Project.
