WOTUS cases to head back to federal district courts

Resolving which federal court has jurisdiction to hear legal challenges to the 2015 "waters of the United States," rule, also known as WOTUS, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously decided to reverse the judgement of the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, determining the appeals court did not have jurisdiction in the case. The Supreme Court action, announced Monday, means challenges to WOTUS will go through federal district courts.
