University programs will benefit agricultural science

Four California universities will receive grants from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to support agricultural science education at Hispanic-serving institutions. The grants from the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture are meant to strengthen the ability of the institutions to carry out education, applied research and related community-development programs.
