Grape growers’ cooperative assesses winegrape market

Hot weather in June and July in the Central Valley is shrinking what was already predicted to be a smaller crop of Thompson seedless grapes, at the same time that the acreage of the variety—which is crushed into concentrate for wine or dried into raisins—has shrunk dramatically in recent years.
