Farm groups seek revisions to USDA biotech proposals

Despite efforts by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to revamp current biotechnology regulations and eliminate unnecessary burdens on companies and universities that develop new crop varieties using biotech methods, some researchers and farm groups say they remain concerned the proposed regulations would stifle technological innovations.
