Leopold Award accepts 2017 applications

Applications have opened for the California Leopold Conservation Award, which honors California farmers, ranchers, foresters and other private landowners who demonstrate outstanding stewardship and management of natural resources. Award sponsors the California Farm Bureau Federation, Sand County Foundation and Sustainable Conservation announced the start of applications for the award, which carries a top prize of $10,000.
